Includes skewness-corrected\nasymptotic score ('SCAS') methods, which have been developed in\nLaud (2017) from Miettinen and Nurminen\n(1985) and Gart and Nam (1988)\n, and in Laud (2025, under review) for\npaired proportions. The same score produces hypothesis tests\nthat are improved versions of the non-inferiority test for\nbinomial RD and RR by Farrington and Manning (1990)\n, or a generalisation of the\nMcNemar test for paired data. The package also includes MOVER\nmethods (Method Of Variance Estimates Recovery) for all\ncontrasts, derived from the Newcombe method but with options to\nuse equal-tailed intervals in place of the Wilson score method,\nand generalised for Bayesian applications incorporating prior\ninformation. So-called 'exact' methods for strictly\nconservative coverage are approximated using continuity\nadjustments, and the amount of adjustment can be selected to\navoid over-conservative coverage.
